Fast, affordable and delicious. Good ice cream too! What a perfect lunch spot for a small family.

Friendly and their Mackerel cove sandwich is amazing. We showed minutes after they closed and they served us amazing dinner.

Spinnakers is tradition! We’re so happy we were able to get take out today, May 18, 2020. We ate in a bench and then went back for ice cream! It looked like they were practicing social distancing and wearing masks and gloves. They had one person handling the money and credit cards, smart move!!!!Food as always was great!!!Lynn and Mark.

We went there. Ordered Cobb salads and childs grilled cheese. The Cobb salad worst salad ever. States bacon tasted more like bacon bits, awful. The grilled chicken also had a foreign taste not sure if it was marinated but whatever was not good. Meager lettuce. Kids grilled cheese. Not great. Fries varied. Some hot , some not fully cooked. Would never return.

My 12 yr. old granddaughter and I ate at Spinnaker's Cafe yesterday and had a great lunch! But I was most impressed at the restaurant owner's care and concern when my granddaughter's brand new prescription glasses slipped into the ocean underneath the dock while we were on our way to our table outdoors. He went out of his way to ask some folks to dive under the dock and search for the glasses. In the meantime, I prayed for a miracle. The glasses were found in that dark space in the water!!! Thank you to Jesus for answered prayer, to the restaurant owner for his great kindness and to the divers (especially the 11 yr. old girl who found them!) who took the time and risked their own safety to turn a bad situation into a great one!!

This is a good spot for a quick bite to eat or a scoop of ice cream if you happen to be in Jamestown. The menu consists of mostly wraps, burgers and sandwich options. They have outdoor seating by the dock which, if you can grab an open table, is always the best way to go. They also serve beer and wine which I think is a new addition to the menu.

Spinnakers Cafe is by far the best ice cream and cafe in Jamestown. I would recommend Spinnakers to anyone looking for a delicious ice cream or rocket dawgz. There are also great views of Narragansett bay and great seating in the back of the facility.

I've been waiting for a sandwich for the past 15 minutes. It cannot be that hard to make a grinder. For the 13 dollars that I just paid I am not too happy. There was not a lot of people in the place at the time I was here. I am stating that the food was overpriced and the service and speed at which the food was made not the greatest.

This place has three vegetarian dinner menu options (which could be made vegan by asking to hold certain items), and it has a phenomenal vegan ice cream! It's super convenient if you're staying at the marina.

What a great little place! We spent a weekend and we went a few times. They had a burger on the menu with avocado, bacon, and chipotle mayo. It was fantastic.

I’m not a person who regularly likes to eat out and my first and last visit to Spinnakers Café proves why. My family visited Jamestown for the first time and prior to leaving we stopped for Mac and cheese, a lobster roll and clam chowder. The Mac and cheese was cold and crusty and for the price I can’t believe I received a few spoonfuls. The lobster roll wasn’t outstanding, but it was probably the highlight of our experience.

From the food to the ice cream Spinnakers is an excellent place to eat. I would highly recommend the Rocket Dawgz.

Great location on the water at East Ferry. The food is delicious and staff is awesome. Go for the food and view, but stay for the ice cream (it is excellent).

I stopped in for ice cream. A nice selection and service was good. The food menu and dining area seemed worth checking out if you are in the area for lunch.

The surf and turf burger was bomb because I love lobster in my cheese burger. Clam chowder was really good, but the chicken Caesar wrap could had more chicken for the price.

Nice little water side cafe, basic but good for a quick bite before or after a ferry trip to Newport

Wasn’t that impressed with this place yesterday. We ordered two Clam-a-Palooza dinner’s which the menu said was a clam roll, 2 clam cakes and a cup of chowder. The clam rolls were clam strips which were like rubber, and the clam cakes were way over cooked and too crunchy to eat. We also ordered a whole clam roll and ended ended up with clam strip roll. They did make good on that but not the two dinners we ordered. They need to clearly specify that the palooza is strips not whole belly clams. The chowder was good but we were disappointed with the rest of the meal. And for what it cost, wont be going back there on our next trip to Jamestown.

Friendly service, they try to keep up at busy times. Tasty ice cream. The food is rather boring, could do with better ingredients.

First of all, this place has very friendly staff who are patient, nice with great welcoming smiles. Second, the food. Well I did not try everything but i tried one of the wraps and ice cream. Both were delecious. What a great location where you get to see the ferries as well as the bridge that connects jamestown to newport. If you like the scene of sailing boats and the bridge then you will definitly enjoy and appreciate the location with a nice cup of ice cream in a hot shinny summer day in the ocean state.
